Winners…

The winners of the Blackness on Sea Poetry Prize were:

⭐️ Arran Potts in first place for his poem "Come Away In" ⭐️

and in second place Helen Cross for "Bo'ness Betty"

Arran receives £1,000 and Trophy and Helen £200 and Trophy 🏆

Arran Potts is a teacher and has been writing poetry as a hobby to rekindle a love for writing . He also finds time to play the guitar, go to the theatre and generally be as creative as possible. He is married to Julie and has three wonderful children.

Helen Cross is a member of a local writing group. Much more on Helen later.

A book of poems selected from the competition is planed in the near future.
