Daily Strolls
As the " Wee Dug" and I wander along the John Muir way, a lasting legacy of a
mans insight for wilderness' sake to be had.
We stumble across Blackness on sea to be met by the great castle thats fought
and lost many a victory.
We sit on a bench taking in the sights, looking across the forth, the three bridges
in view, the snow capped Ochils clear to see,
the lap of the waves, the tinkle of the boats bobbing in the sunshine shake me
from my thoughts so further along we go.
A welcoming sight to be had we land at "The lobster pot" quaint and quirky, a great place to find if you're thirsty,
the smell of the food is so devine you'll be full up in next to no time.
cosy fire to be at, to take in Colms great Art,
A tale or two could be told if you let your imagination get hold.
Time to go, onwards we must go, but left or right where do we go.
Put Blackness on your list for a visit, its a friendly wee place to be in it,
Blackness on sea is the place to be as i come here and wait frequently.
