Poem No. 160

POEM TITLE A Day in Blackness

POEM

Look across the Forth, at the looming Fife ridges. Look along the Forth, and your

eyes fall on three bridges. Walk along the road, running alongside the beach, your destination, Blackness castle, is now within easy reach.

Stroll back from this historic castle, at a nice and easy pace, Lo and behold, you

come across the Lobster Pot - great food lies within this place.

Not sure now if I should go, or have a longer stay. Maybe I should stay a while, and

walk the John Muir Way.

So now your day is ending, and be you male or femme, you will never forget your

day in Blackness, you found a little gem!
