Poem no. 168

POEM TITLE

A Welcoming on Sea

POEM

Can a ship that never sailed truly cross the sea,

And be welcomed to bridges always drawn?

Under the watchful eye of a castle's history,

You can discover a home away from home.

Brightness on the Forth shines an eternal summer,

As there is no darkness by Blackness on Sea.

Whether you're a regular or a newcomer,

You will always be treated like family.

So, for an evening where even the dogs may dwell,

Take a stroll along the road to our quaint little spot.

Join the Blackness Bay Lifeguards to sit for a spell,

As you head on down to The Lobster Pot.
