Poem no. 197

POEM TITLE

Firth of Morning

POEM

Firth of Morning

There is debate on when best

to discover the beauty of

the firth.

When to enter

When to linger

When to escape

This is no debate

Here

For this very private

Firth of reveal

Firth of morning

The invitation is awake

Again

In harmony the water is calm

The blackness of sea

The sides of earth majestic and warm

The sky awaiting

Calling the cauldron of

the blackness of its waves

The gaze that is the signal

So stand quietly

Now

Flare your imagination

Open the red door to the secrets

Flicker your energy

Trust me
