POEM TITLE Sea-dogs Allowed, Ooh Ar Me Hearties!

POEM There’s a jolly we cove where I likes to be,

It goes by the name of Blackness On Sea!

I us’lly takes ma wee duggie wi’ me-

An’ they call her Black Hearted Bella!

Is that ‘cos I is black? Bit raciest, Mum!

No, it’s cos you is a naughty dug! Now let me continue

It’s here we have found us a rare ‘ostelry,

The Lobster Pot, right, an’ there’s views of the sea!

The artwork’s a treat, they do coffee and tea,

Or a pint with a meal.. I’ll try lobster!

Do they do sossijes?

-Shut up dog!

They builded the castle near this decent pub,

So pirates an’ soldiers could all get good grub.

An’ maybe go hame wi’ a rose in a tub!

Me- I’d rather a snog wi’ Sam Heughan!

Mum now it’s you lowering the tone!

-Aye but who would nae? 🤪

Two swash-buckling’ sea dogs like us will n’er win,

But we promise on Long John’s grave we’ll still come in

We’ll order two cokes (you could slip me a gin 😉)

And as usual we’ll leave without payin’ 🤣 🤣 🤣
