Poem No.89

blacknessonseapoet

POEM TITLE The Traveler's View

POEM From the pictures on the wall

To the castle that stands so tall

The blackness sea

Where the lobster is key

The lobsters were caught

And headed to the pot

Served to the king

While he watched his people sing

King James the IV

He ruled the north

He lived in his castle

Where the prisoners were fine but the sea was a hassle

There's art on the ceiling

It is so appealing

It feeds the town

And turns frowns upside down

Blackness Castle

And The Lobster Pot

I know that didn't rhyme

They will be on the Blackness Sea until the end of time
