POEM TITLE When I was eight ......


POEM Blackness I used to visit

my aunt's house on the shore

My father brought us once a month

to the sand and see and more.

A post office and shop and lovely walk

to a castle far away

Today I came to visit , 50 years has passed me now

I had lobster for lunch in the nicest wee pub

and ice- cream from the machine

Now 58 I still appreciate

Blackness by the sea ......
