POEM TITLE The Wave

POEM The Wave I want to age like sea-glass

Un-broken Smoothed by ever changing tides -My shape transformed by each

wave - like a lobster pot of many ages

I want to be like a sea-glass caressed gently by those who admire my

well earned patina

caught by a wave and brought to a temporary natural resting place

I want to be appreciated for the changes I went through with time, -that helped

shape my beauty

I want to enjoy my hope-filled journey trusting that the blackness of Sea will

whisper sweetly, rage with vigorou and continue to generously give

I want to one day rejoin the ever changing seascape with my butterfly daughter

I want to age like sea-glass glistening with life
