POEM TITLE A Gid Day at Blackness on Sea
POEM Ma nose twitches tae the smell o the sea air I could be onywhere but the castle I
see tells me where...
Blackness castle nae less it's a place of wondrous aww and the fortress demands
me tae explore.
I spend hours searching and imagining old Scots tales, an when I'm fair weary my stomach starts to growl.
I am needing fed, whaur else tae go but the majestic lobster pot. But now I face a conundrum whit tae have.
I Cannae resist the surf and turf, all washed down with a fine pale ale.
My bellys full and my mind is clear, my days been braw now I must clear, goodbye Blackness on Sea I will be back I can't be away long you'll soon call me back.
